QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What should I wear?
Everything we will shoot will be from the waist up, so concentrate on a top in a color that makes your skin absolutely glow - a "you" color. Solids and patterns are both fine. "Silky" materials pick up the light in a very interesting way. Think about the 'brand' of you when you choose.
Can I bring someone with?
Headshot sessions are for one individual only, but you’re welcome to bring support if it helps you feel confident.
How long is the session?
Each headshot session is 10 minutes, which sounds short but is actually plenty of time for 3 backdrop looks.
I'M NOT FEELING CONFIDENT IN MY BODY AT THE MOMENT
This is a common one, and girl, I've got you. I will help you pose to your best advantage and our Hair and Makeup Artist will make sure you are ready and at your best. During your session, tell me about anything you like (your good side, what you'd like retouched, etc) and we will make it all happen.
I never like photos of myself
During your session we'll talk about why. Between lighting, posing and retouching, there is always a way to make you look like YOU and bring out all your true beauty.
I feel guilty for spending on myself
Friend, this is about more than a Makeover Montage. How you see yourself directly correlates to how others see you. Have you heard the saying, "You teach people how to treat you"?
